Jim is a native North Carolinian, born in Raleigh. He graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Accounting and began his career as an Accountant for KPMG. Jim has almost thirty years of experience working as an Advisor and has attended the Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders Conference in Omaha, NE, for nineteen years. Jim and his wife Stephanie live in Cary with their two children, Tyler and Lindsey, and their Schnoodle, Cooper.
